The Runnin' Lopes got off to a slow start in Friday's double-header, losing the first game 2-12. However, they were able to finish strong with a 9-6 victory in the final game of the series. Bailey Douglas threw her second win of the year and went 4 for 7 on the day. Freshman Kelsee Bushell went 3 for 6 and sophomore Baylee Patterson also contributed a homerun to the Runnin' Lopes offense.
On Wednesday, April 20, the LCC Softball team was able to take one game from conference rival Otero Junior College despite some unpredictable weather.
