Bio

Lawrence Kwazema is an accomplished soccer coach and former NCAA Division I student - athlete who now joins Lamar Community College as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. A versatile midfielder during his playing career, he competed at Temple University and also represented Northern Illinois and Biola University, earning multiple All-Conference and All-Region honors for his performances. In 2022, he was a member of the USL League Two National Championship team with Ventura County Fusion.

 

Kwazema brings a broad skill set in player development, recruitment and performance training, combining on-field experience with modern coaching methods. He founded Anaco Prime Sports Academy, in which he has delivered individualized training programs, talent identification, and international development opportunities. This provides him with a global perspective on player progressions and team building. He exhibits tactical acumen, a strong work ethic, and the ability to develop players both technically and mentally. Lawrence is committed to helping athletes reach collegiate and professional levels while fostering a strong team spirit.
